Yes I applied on 19th September 2020 and I was randomly checking for any available appointments and luckily saw one available on 6 October and I quickly booked it and I have received confirmation of appointment too. I hope everything is going well.

I applied 22th of September and just booked appointment on 5th of October.But I have not received email confirmation code yet.

Check if you have IDV app access also. Submit via IDV app and attend appointment on 5th Oct also.

How long does it take for the confirmation email to arrive.They already deudected money from my account.

Can take 5min to few hours. But you can view the details at UKVCAS manage services section.

I checked now and it says Your appointment confirmation has been emailed to you.but I have not received it yet.is this normal.

Yes its normal to receive email after 4/5 hours also. Check junk folder also.

Applied sometime in July around 20th
Idv app biometrics on 1st September
Approval email came through today 5pm.

i see many people are doing dual submission . I submitted my picture via IDV app on 28th Aug and today while searching i found a FREE appointment at UKVCAS croydon on 25th sep so booked it

Done my biometrics today. The place was EMPTY. I was the only one. Showed up half and hour early and they just waived me in.
About 15 booths and quite a few offices, majority staffed but I have only seen one lady (applicant) coming about 10-15min after me.

Why there are not more available appointments is beyond me.
Unless they were told to let submissions little by little so UKVCAS doesn’t create a bottleneck down at UKVI end.
Any other reason would suspicious look like De Beers diamond trade strategy

Looking at the trend on this forum, I was tempted to book in person appointment. Yeah it's very difficult getting anything in Manchester. Try Sheffield and Birmingham. You may have to travel a bit for this one

That was quick! I always thought that until you go to the Biometrics appointment they wouldn't start looking at your case. Looks like they do some work on the background already even before Biometrics then.

I've just recieved approval for naturalisation email.

I've seen lot of discussions around booking an appointment, however, I stuck with IDV app (so there's hope and don't give up and waste money)

just to give a brief background info on my application:
5yr Tier2 + 1 yr ILR route
Applied on 4th june, IDV submission on 27th Aug
