@Richie12
No, standard processing is up to 6 months. Every case is different. More or less mileage can vary on each case. Case(s) can take 6m+ also.

Just got my approval email today, with just the IDV submission (28/8/2020)
However, last Friday I sent email to request for Status update, I don’t know if that might have yielded a quicker result.
Application submitted online on 13/06/2020
Good luck and many thanks to all.
Mostly to @ CR001 & CULLINIAN
@ Issue1985, @CULLINAN,
Is it fair to assume that it's about 2-3months processing time? My quick analysis from the previous post shows something similar to these times
@Ritchie
Mine took around 3 months and two weeks
Including a month after IDV submission

Hi guys,
I just received an email confirming that my citizenship application has been successful.
I applied on the 5th of July 2020 and did the IDV on the 31st of August.
I was so worried about this application because I had a TVlicence conviction 3yrs and some late tax penalties. I thank God that I have crossed that hurdle.
Thanks so much to all the moderators on this group for your response, reassurance and dedication to helping others. I’m truly grateful 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

So it appears they are going somewhat by IDV biometrics submission date. My biometrics submission was 5th September (application 25 June) and nothing yet

No. Seems like in order of the date of registration with UKVI/UKVCAS.
UKVI have told us that they aim to deal with ALL applications in date order. This means that your case will be dealt with by UKVI based on the date of your registration with UKVI/UKVCAS

I think Section 6(2) and BC via EU route are processed quicker... Section 6(1) seems to be receiving approvals also but looks like its the date order.....might be different teams dealing with different routes to BC.. so we see approvals from July/Aug also.... But mainly, looks like they are processing Section 6(1) from June now.....with few exceptions obviously some applications can take longer.... my analysis.....

Free to travel, but child must return to the UK before visa expiry.

Also, useful to start your own topic with such questions as this thread is only for biomtric/IDV question and not general questions.

Hi

I have used my previous account registered with UKVCAS for ILR. I have applied on 9th June and same account has been used for my wife and daughter application date 6th July. Not sure what date they will take.

I have made my application in 6 of June. I did dual submission and have not heard anything yet.
I also think there are different teams for different routes. :?

2Nd question

@Kloklo

1) Not sure why. If an appointment is available system should let you book. Try logging out and logging back in. Maybe a temporary glitch. Otherwise, DM UKVCAS on twitter.

2) Yes you can. Ignore optional and mandatory headings. This is how the website works. Just upload in whichever category it fits best.

What does the date of registration mean? Date when UKVI received your application or date when UKVCAS registers an applicant on their system?
