Hi all,
Hope you are safe.
I have a question about Tier 2 switching to Tier 2. I got a 6 months contract from the university I studied.
They asked me to switch to Tier 2 from my Tier 4.My contract will finish in the end of March 2020. I have a question after the contact:
1. if my university can extend my contract
2. if I have to switch to another employer
Does the university or my new emplier need to do labour market test for the new position?
thank you
Best Regards
Helen

Your question is not clear, March 2020 is already done. Assuming it is 2021, as per the current immigration law you need to undergo RLMT if your occupation is not under shortage Occupation. However, we still don't know what will change under new immigration law effective January 2021

RLMT exception applies if you are switching within the UK from Tier 4 to Tier 2.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

Hi all
I have a question about Tier2 application form.
It askes me to fill my current visa status. My Tier 4 visa valid time was from 14 September 2019 to 14 October 2019 and I collected my BRP card last year.
The application form has a question:
Was there a reason beyond your control why you did not apply before your visa or leave to remain expired?
Does it mean I just need to fill the real reason is: My Tier 4 visa was used to enter the UK and collect my BRP card as legal document to study in the UK?
Anyone can help? Thank you.

May I ask the answer to the question in visa application form: ' was there a reason beyond your control why you did not apply before your visa or leave to remain expired?" is 'No'?

Hi all
Not sure if you have similar experience but would hope someone could answer this.
I applied to study in the UK for a Masters degree but my visa application was refused in Aug 2016 and a second application in Sep 2016 was refused too. The reasons were that I didn't explain well and the ECO thought I only wanted to find ways to stay in the UK because I worked for 1+ year before I decided to study.
I got my Tier 4 last year at the University of Warwick. Now I got a full-time job from University of Wariwck and it was in the Short occupation list. I am applying for Tier 2 now and really nervous if I will get it.
I will have to fulfill the previous refusal reasons. I will input the same content as for my Tier 4 application.
Can Anyone share some thoughts? thank you.

Hi All
The visa application has technical issues. Afer I paid IHS fee and received the email confirmation for payment. But I still haven't received reference number. The website shows 'error, we are experience technical problems.' I sent email to
applyonlinee-support@homeoffice.gov.uk but no reply yet.
Anyone had the same experience?

Update the status, I received the reference number on the second day automatically.
