Unclear why you are assuming the poster submitted visa IDV when they did not.

Hey, I thought all are submitting he application via IDV app. Because of covid Home Office has introduced this app to submit the photos/biometrics information so you don't have to visit the application center physically.

sorry about my assumption.

I have applied for visa for my son (born this year - ICT dependent) but have not got the BRP even after 22 working days even when the decision letter has been received but we did not get the tracking details for BRP. After 10 working days of decision letter, I have raised the no-BRP card received request on gov.uk thrice now but no response at all after 5 working days. Called UKVI as well to escalate and have been told to wait for 10 working days for response. Contacted the local MP as well who has got in touch with UKVI but UKVI will respond in 20 working days. Not sure if anything else can be done to know the status of BRP card. Please suggest.

1. Type of application: Tier 2 ICT PBS dependent (in-country)
2. Number of dependants applying at same time: 1
3. Date application posted: 22/07/20
4. Date application received at UKBA: 22/07/20
5. Date of biometrics enrolment: 19/08/20
6. Date of decision letter/approval: 12/09/20
7. Date BRP received: Awaited

You need to wait mate, there's a huge backlog and producing BRP is also impacted due to current situation. Atleast you have decision which is the main bit.

One of my contacts got BRP in 2 month's so probably try not to plan any travel until ur BRP arrives.

Yes, we are waiting but reading through other posts, I see lot of people are getting the BRP cards in 1-2 week's time. Not sure how the priority is set for different visa types. Some people I know who got their decision letters post 12th Sep have got their BRP cards already but we haven't.

Only way is wait for UKVI to comeback to your query if you have raised one for not receiving BRP in stipulated time.

There's no other way unfortunately as production of BRP's is done by some other agency so minimal control and if your's is stuck it will have rippling effect on others too.

I have got an email on 19/10 from BRP delivery that there has been a technical issue in producing the BRP (for my son). This has been passed to appropriate team who are aware and will contact you again in due course.

Does anyone know what could this technical issue?
