Applying for HSMP Extension under juducial Review

Post by hsmpaspire » Fri Aug 22, 2008 3:14 am

Hello All,
I have a quick query.
Following are the timescales of my HSMP initial application.

HSMP Approval Letter--10 August 2006
FLR stamped on Passport--16 Dec 2006
HSMP Expires on 16 Dec 2008

As far as iam aware, iam covered under the juducial review and now i want to apply for extension in order to get my spouse.
How sooner can i apply for extension(timescales)? Can i apply right away?

Many Thanks for your Help

Hi,

I believe you can apply 6 weeks to the expiration of your current LTR.

Regards,

Hi, As per the guidelines for FLR Tier-1 (HSMP), it is clearly mentioned that ideally you should send your application not more than 5 weeks in advance. But that's the ideal situation. My friend called up HO and they have confirmed that we can apply for FLR any time and there is no restriction on when one should apply. I don't know though, what date they will be using for stamping.

I hope this is clear now. If in doubt better call HO and get the confirmation.

Cheers!
Jackie

Hi there,
I am in the similar situation as you and I have been on HSMP since October 2006 (Approval letter - August 2006)...

I am about to send out my extension application this week...Could you let me know what documentation you are sending....

I assume under old rules we only have to:

1) Show that we have been economically active in the last 12 months...is that correct..
2) The points system does not apply.

Many thanks,
Rohan...

Hello,
Iam planning to send
1)Past 12 mnths salary slipa and past 12 mnths bank statements.
That should be enough as we are not on points based system
