This only one day in between, expiry date?
Apologies. Expiry date is 25 July 2021 ( not 2020)

I received my passport and GNIB card today by express post(Documents were delivered to INIS on 5 Aug). I want to shed a light regarding new GNIB start/end dates because I see incorrect comments from the others. The new GNIB is not starting from the date you receive automated mail from the system. My new GNIB starts from previous one's expiry date ( 26 July 2020) and expires on 25 July 2020.
That is certainly not the case for my partner, my colleague’s partner and two of my friends. All four got 3 years of Stamp 4 based on being the partner of an Irish national, starting from the date of the approval email. They all renewed back in early July.

Wondering if it’s just you or maybe it depends on stamp number, or maybe they recently changed the rules?

When someone is eligible for permission of 3 or 5 years, it will be limited to the passport expiry date. In other words if you're a husband or a wife of an Irish citizen, and only have 1 year validity left on your passport, you will receive permission for 1 year only. It is important to renew your passport on time.

Can the INIS Online system be used for change of permission? I need to change from Stamp 1G to 1, it's technically not a renewal.
Yes, thats the process via https://inisonline.jahs.ie, a friend of a friend has had it changed (confirmed) in this way applying for renewal and choosing the desired stamp, got to know this just today.

Can anyone who got both their Passport and IRP confirm if they got their original documents back with their IRP. I have only got my passport, neither did I receive my IRP till date (email sent for IRP not received) nor the original documents sent.
I received my passport and IRP card in the same day (they are in two separate envelop), after 5 working days I received email from INIS that they had approved my renewal and supply the tracking number.

Hi guys, does anyone have any indication on what dates they are processing now for online renewals (as at 6 October 2020)?

Anyone who recently got their passport and IRP card back can you please share when you submitted your online application?

Can anyone advise on how to go about this.

My CSEP was applied on 30 June, and no update was received towards the end of July for CSEP. My Stamp 1G IRP was nearing expiry on 4th Aug so I applied for its renewal on 26 July. My CSEP was approved on 31st July 2020 just a few days after my IRP submission.

My CSEP is now in effect as of 29 Sep and my company is asking for my employment visa for their record, I'm unable to apply for Stamp 1 online as the I receive the error "Your expiry date should be no more than one month from today's date", and this error does not allow me to proceed to the payment page either.

I could not find any where else or how to go about this as I did not receive any reply from Burgh Quay office having tried to reach them via email, and Change of permission stamp/registration email as well.

Any thoughts on how to go about this.

Hey, I just got my approval email yesterday at 17.00, I submitted online on September 2nd, they received my passport Sept 4.

I’ll update when I actually receive the passport / IRP in the post.

I’m a US spousal stamp 4

That's 6 weeks , but @generousPapaya , got it in 4 weeks 5 days ... How we can estimate what dates they are processing now .. I think here application was send on 4th sept and urs on 26th August .. both have same date for processing mail recieved . Could it be possible if you share the application form number .

I have send my application on 22nd sept , INIS received it on 23rd sept ... Don't know till when I can expect a reply ? 😟

Starting to process one’s application doesn’t mean they will finish it on the same day. They usually do, but in the event of any external validation required (e.g. if they need to validate whether a foreign document is genuine), it may take an extra few weeks.

Your application was posted on 22 September so you should expect it to come back in early November.

When your expiry is 1 month or less from the date of application; more than 1 month and you will not be able to apply online.

Did you pay the 300€ at the end of your application or it was waived?
