EU3 / EU5 Waiting Times

Post by reachsid » Wed Sep 23, 2020 10:45 pm

Hey,

Hope you all well.

Has anyone applied for EU3 or EU5 this year and got any response back within 6months?

My EU1 stamp 4 eufam is expiring in Jan 2021 and I have applied for retention (EU5) in June20, waiting for response.

Would anyone suggest to request for temp visa or apply for EU3 or pack the bags  ?

I have heard from my solicitor alot of application delayed but I am not sure.

Any inputs will be appreciated :)

Thanks

I got a response on my EU5 application requesting more documents and temp extension.

GNIB Expiry: Jan-21
Applied EU5: Aug-20
Response: Oct-20
Temp visa till: June21

They have requested for
1.Evidence of applicant residence.
2.Evidence of EU activity during Divorce

Has anyone been through a situation where EU partner was not working or exercising treaty rights during the time of divorce?

Thank you

Was the EU citizen working at the time you initiated the divorce, not during the process, and do you have proof of this?

Hey Obie,

What does it mean by while initiating divorce? I applied for family civil bill this year Jan 20 and she wasn't working at that moment.

We were separated from Dec 18 and she was always working except 3-4months prior and during divorce, Got married in June 15.

Its been so long and I have no contact with EU partner. The main reason for us to separate was on Domestic violence.

At this stage I am not sure if I have any hope getting approval.
