Job cuts in UK for Non EU High skilled migrants

Hello,

I have applied for the EC last week and today in NDTV I see there about 30K job cuts in UK under High Skilled migrants.....I am sure it is going to effect us in big way...any takes on this???.....I want as many comments as possible...especially from people working in UK currently...pls shout out ur views........

You are confusing Tier 1 with Tier 2. Tier 2 is going to be the new arrangements for skilled work permit holders.

The announcement clearly refers to Tier 2. Newspaper reports might not be so accurate.
