NHS Maternity exemption & free dental care

Post by zainabalam » Tue Oct 20, 2020 8:49 am

Hi,

My husband is on ILR and I am on his spouse visa, I wanted to know if I am eligible for the free NHS prescription and free dental care while pregnant.

As I don't want to claim these if they fall under the public funds as my visa states "not eligible for public funds".

I do not want to have any problem in my ILR application a couple of years down the road.

Thank you

Immigration staff guidance for how to make decisions about what UK public funds foreign nationals can claim and what action it must take if they claim funds they are not entitled to.
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/public-funds

Read from page 11 and anything else on that guidance that refers to your circumstances.
