Referee declaration

Post by Rar578 » Fri Sep 18, 2020 3:59 pm

Hi There,
Could you please clarify my doubt regarding the referee declaration?
Can I send referee declaration forms with my photo ( I glued) electronically to the referees?
I would like to ask them to take a printout that declaration form and a wet sign on that.
Again I want to request them to send me back those signed declarations by electronically.
Is this OK for the Citizenship application?
Please advise

No. Its best to glue a physical photo. You can send them physical forms via post and they can return by post.

10 years work history

Post by Rar578 » Tue Sep 22, 2020 9:24 am

Hi There,
Could you please clarify my doubt regarding ten years’ work history.
I have mentioned every single job which I did in the last ten years in my application.
However, some of the dates are approximate, and those are not exact.
Shall I need to upload a cover letter by mentioning that: Some of my previous employment dates may not be exact, and they are approximate dates from knowledge.
Experts opinion PLEASE on this

Thats fine to provide estimates to the best of your knowledge. However, you can mention in the additional notes or cover letter that the dates are estimates to the best of your knowledge if you want.

10 years work history

Post by Rar578 » Fri Oct 02, 2020 5:05 am

Hi There,
Could u please clarify my doubt regarding 10 years’ work history.
I am sorry to ask this question again.
Some of my employment dates may not be exact, and they are approximate dates. I did not have a chance to add this information during filling the application. Is it mandatory to write a cover letter with this information? If I do not add this note, is it problem to the application?
I uploaded all of necessary documents and ready to submit.
Expert advise please !

volunteer job -Non paid

Post by Rar578 » Fri Oct 02, 2020 8:06 am

Hi,
Could you please advise on the following thing?
My wife did a volunteer job as a guest lecturer (2-3 hours for a month) as part of her Ph.D.
It is not paid job and this is the part of the courses (Ph.D. and PGCE/PCET).
Shall SHE need to declare it on the application?
She did not mention that in the application.
But she did not submit the documents complete the biometrics yet.
Shall she need to write a cover letter with this?
Expert advise please?

Dear experts,
Please advise on my query.
Changing the contact details with HO can be done via the address update service.

https://visa-address-update.service.gov.uk/

However, I do not think that you can change the email address. Note, these days HO is relying more on digital methods to communicate. You can try and contact them to send you decision/correspondence via post instead.

Note, you can not entirely rely on the gov update service either. Many times HO does not update even after that.

Best to write to HO with recorded delivery and hope so that it will be updated.

Hi,
Could you please advise on this?
Myself and my partner got the approvals recently for citizenship. Once we got the passports, we would like to apply for the citizenship for my son who is 13 years old and born outside of the UK (India).
He has ILR which he got in May 2019.
How can I apply for this? MN form or normal citizenship application?
Please suggest
