Yes, I already said this last week. Things have gone to a standstill with lockdown 2.0
What a pain  . I am to receive a job offer which I cannot accept without ILR
[/quote]

I am in the same boat, have you escalated to your MP? I’ve seen on other chats that people with job offers are escalating. Will that work?

Looks like MPs are helping people who have job offers to accept.
Is this true? I have a job offer with a pending start date of Jan 1, 2021. But still nothing from the HO. I also need to serve 1 month notice at my current employer. So that means I need to hand notice before end of NOv. Should I escalate to MP?

No I was only pointing to the same case you and I have seen in the forum. You can try your luck with your MP but personally I wouldn't.

@ajitu92,
Set LR update from my contact:
Application Date: 18/08/2020
In-Person Biometrics: 08/09/2020
Decision: 18/11/2020

Exact three months from submission to decision
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.

Thank you, sir! Added to my stats. Getting closer and closer to your application date now!
Decisions have definitely slowed down again, no idea why...Set LR average is slowly creeping up.

Hi,
We have applied for ILR via Tier-2 General 5year route for self, spouse and child.

Submitted application on 16th Aug and provided in person biometric on 5th Sept. We are yet to hear from HO and as everyone else we are also quiet anxious with every passing days & Weeks.

When we see on ILR Timelines thread that some people are getting decision letters within a month, we can't stop worry about the days this process is taking. We have aged parents back home and worry about the potential emergency travel that may arise.

Appreciate any information or suggestions or pointers on generally how long ILR processing is currently taking and what to do if a need to travel arise.

Hi all

I did see some people said they received the phone call from case workers. Is that a private number? landline number? or Unknown caller?

Thanks

This is unusual given that in person biometrics done in October have had decisions. Set O is generally quick unless your application lands in a queue awaiting enquiries. I can totally relate to your frustration although I only applied in Oct. Have you tried to see your status using the Right to Work if you have a valid BRP from your last leave?

Thanks, just check right to work and it still shows my current Tier-2 BRP validity and work rights.

I did get a request to attach English test certificate three days after submitting Biometric which we did on the same day. No other queries or communication since then.

Has anyone remained on this forum July ILR Set(O) applicant and still not got a decision like me :(
4th June applicant, still no response. Did double submission of biometric but that did not speed up the process for me as well. Have noticed the delays are more for those who have applied with their dependents.

Do you know what, this is the sort of thing I believe lands the application in a less priority queue ( this is my guess). Your best bet might be to seek your MPs help.

Hello everyone,

I am waiting for my BRP card to arrive by post. Anyone knows if I am required to be there in person to sign the post when the BRP arrives? Anyone received their BRP card already?

Thank you,

Yaya

So having a longer valid Tier 2 BRP might put our ILR decision in a queue? @Trulysrp, what is your current Tier 2 BRP validity time, if I may ask? or someone who got a decision on ILR quickly, can they imply that their Tier 2 BRP/visa was about to expire or expired just after applying?
Thanks

My current visa is valid till April 2021, not sure that plays a role in processing time.

It is pure luck - Some applications are processed quicker than others. Outstanding enquiries can vary as per the individual case. Unfortunately, you can not do much about it other than wait patiently.
The cases reported on this forum are a very small proportion of what actually HO deals with. Many are waiting for even longer than you are, so do not stress unnecessarily following the timeline thread.

What visa you were on before you applied for ILR? We can guess which category and then help you with the timeline and expectations.
