Visit visa for Mother-Please advise how it will be successful

I would like to bring my mother from Bangladesh.
Please advise the process and how it can be successful.

Sponsor-UK CITIZEN

-sponsor salary 35k
-homeowner

Applicant: 60 years old

Why not?

You just need to show that she has strong attachments to her countries. So is more likely to go back at the end of her visa.

There is always a risk when you apply for a visitor visa especially the first time. So make sure you read the forum and document the application as much as possible.

Which documents should be submitted with the application. Can the sponsor submit the supporting documents here in UK?

keep in mind your sponsorship and supporting documents carries very little weight in eyes of Entry Clearance Officer.

Your strong bank statement and BC status would actually go against her. As there are more chances of her to overstay or not go back at all after coming here.

ECO's r more interested to see her socail and economic ties back home than here in the UK.. Like job, business, Properties, children back home and their strong interaction wih her.

Your strong bank statement and BC status would actually go against her. As there are more chances of her to overstay or not go back at all after coming here.

ECO's r more interested to see her socail and economic ties back home than here in the UK.. Like job, business, Properties, children back home and their strong interaction wih her.

How come strong bank statement and citizenship go against him? Can you please elaborate?. Please don't mislead others. As for as strong ties back home is concerned, yes it is also considered by ECO but in not such extent in which u r manipulating it. Mostly ECO refuses on financial basis coz sponsor would not financially capable to sponsor him/her.

1. Sponsorship letter
2. Tenancy agreement along with evaluation of your property (that u have enough space to accommodate him/her)
3. Ur Bank statements should cover 6 months
4. Payslips fir last six months n p60 or SA302 if u r self employed.
5. Ur immigration status in the UK.
6. Applicant's job or pension or property documents along with his family ties in back home.
7. Applicant's bank statements covering six months

If there is recently huge transaction in ur or applicant's statements then you should explain with proofs coz some cases ECO also makes basis of refusal on unusable transaction to refuse. Hope it makes sense and best of luck.

I am not misleading anyone. Just trying to tell the facts. Most of the people thinks that strong UK sponsorship and bank statement are enough to get visit visa for their parents. which is not the case and carries little weight.

I applied visit visa for my parents in the past few times and I have a clear picture now that what ECO's are like to see in the application form and supporting documents.

Dont be so judgemental about others. I am trying to help this guy in good faith.

Social and economic ties of the applicant back home is more important and carries more weight than the UK sponsor. Anyone in the UK can afford and accomodate their visiting guests from overseas specially Parents.
Years of abuse of this visit visa route lead us to this stage that ECO's r reluctant to issue visit visas even to genuine visitors.

In every refusal letter ECO's always acknowledge that UK sponor can afford the trip and your relationship is genuine blah blah but this is one aspect of the application. They want to see the evidence and reasons that the visitor will go back after completing the visit.
