Correct, no delays for IDV applicants for Set LR specifically!asmith wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 2:43 pmNo I just did IDV on 7 September. I have noticed various applicants who have just done IDV have received it so I suppose I can assume there are no delayed for IDV.
Yeah, the trend so far would suggest that. I think what potentially happens is once application is submitted, it gets randomly assigned to a case workers queue, and since each caseworker works at his/her own pace and has quite different applications to deal with (some more complex than other case workers, etc), holidays - which is why it might look like applications are not truly dealt with in date order, like how applicant for 26 Aug and 28 Aug have already received decisions last week
Any thoughts on Set(O) August applications with Sept Biometrics, it is frustrating to see November applications getting decisions while August/September people still waiting.gag285 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 4:24 pmThis is unusual given that in person biometrics done in October have had decisions. Set O is generally quick unless your application lands in a queue awaiting enquiries. I can totally relate to your frustration although I only applied in Oct. Have you tried to see your status using the Right to Work if you have a valid BRP from your last leave?Trulysrp wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 3:35 pmHi,
We have applied for ILR via Tier-2 General 5year route for self, spouse and child.
Submitted application on 16th Aug and provided in person biometric on 5th Sept. We are yet to hear from HO and as everyone else we are also quiet anxious with every passing days & Weeks.
When we see on ILR Timelines thread that some people are getting decision letters within a month, we can't stop worry about the days this process is taking. We have aged parents back home and worry about the potential emergency travel that may arise.
Appreciate any information or suggestions or pointers on generally how long ILR processing is currently taking and what to do if a need to travel arise.
I am still waiting. Applied online Sep 1, did IDV Sep 21.Trulysrp wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 4:36 pmAny thoughts on Set(O) August applications with Sept Biometrics, it is frustrating to see November applications getting decisions while August/September people still waiting.gag285 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 4:24 pmThis is unusual given that in person biometrics done in October have had decisions. Congrats mate!!!
I don’t think they call up the employer out of the blue. They will probably email if they really have to. I mean I am not saying I know. I know how the wait can feel like forever and raise unnecessary doubts everyday. Good luck again!! Just pray you don’t land with a case worker who like to take their own jolly time deciding..azLondon2020 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 10:42 amHi All,
I have a question about the Home Office checks/follow ups.
My current company that is sponsoring my Tier 2 visa is located in Australia with offices in London and the USA. I am working out of the London office, but the HR team and the CEO that signed my letter of employment verification for my ILR application are in Australia.
What I would like to know, what are the chances that the Home Office or a Case Worker needs to speak to my employer?
The number listed on my employment verification is an Australian number and if they try to call during UK working hours they will not get an answer...
Don’t worry you are not alone! I have reserved my afternoon walk for the doubts. Every afternoon I mull over a new one.azLondon2020 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 12:55 pm@gag285 - Thanks for the help, yes you are right I am going crazy with waiting and I am thinking of all the "what ifs" that might slow down my process.
Any day now for you. I would actually say any hour now, so many Set (O) decisions from Oct rolled in over the weekend. I am sure you will hear good news this week!gag285 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 1:18 pmDon’t worry you are not alone! I have reserved my afternoon walk for the doubts. This is not true for Set LR. There is no effect of IDV or face to face appointment on Set LR decision timelines!
Don't think so - I think decisions have just slowed down a tad for some set LR applications, not entirely sure why, but can only stay patient and hopefully decision coming our way this week or next week
Average processing times were about 85 days a month back. This has increased to 95 to 100 days now
Unfortunately, this is correcto!poper wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 6:01 pmAverage processing times were about 85 days a month back. This has increased to 95 to 100 days now
