I submitted my biometrics the 24th of August, 2020.

Still no news on the result of my PBS Dependant extension.

I was not planning on travelling, but it makes me anxious that if something happens to my family I won't be able to travel.

As discussed in another topic in this form, seems most of the dependent applications got delay compare to main applicants , few more people also waiting for the decision they were submitted biometric on September

I called home office today again but they are not in position to let me know that how long it will take for tier2 general dependent extension application even your application cross standard time ( 8 weeks or above)

I think only category "tier2 general dependent extension application in UK" is affecting due to Current situation and taking long time to process As one of my friend got ILR in one week time only.

Unfortunately no, I have not heard anything as of yet.
Don't expect to hear from them this year, to be honest.
