It seems like there has been a lot of new approvals for ILR LR August applicants and unfortunately I seem to be the last one standing (Application on 20th August, IDV 6th September and F2F appointment 5th October). I also sent an email a couple of weeks ago to escalate the case as I needed to sit an important professional exam in Paris on 30th November, and they replied the following day saying that the matter has been forwarded to the team responsible for my application, which gave me good hope but it actually looks like this even slowed down my case even more (case which is straightforward like the majority of us with current visa valid until December 2021). Congratulations for all those who are receiving decisions and fingers crossed we should receive ours soon...
Finally received my SET LR decision today at 13.45. Concerning the Right to work check, I confirm that 30min prior to that it was still showing data from my old BRP and as soon as the decision came, it's been updated with "There is no limit on how long you can stay in the UK."

Thank you all for this amazing platform and good luck for everyone still waiting!

Updating mine - as it should show awaiting. I have changed jobs in between and renewed my passport. So I am not sure if that's delaying the decision.

True, but not too far now though. Also, given that we've just had our first non-escalated September applicant approval indicates that they must be at the end of the August list. Also (at least according to my dataset) August has had the highest number of Set LR applicants (83), nearly double the nearest number to that (45 applicants in July).

Yeah, I agree. How many Sep applicants do we have in the record? I feel it's much fewer than Aug.

Fewer is an understatement....only 17 Set LR for September recorded in my dataset.
Wow...even if we double that number, it's still faaaaar fewer than Aug...hope the speed of processing can pick up then. :)
Hope so too, but I'm not holding my breath :(
Another August one just came through, so that's all of 22nd August done now.

Many wait for a decision before updating the timeline. Still, 17 for September appears way few. As an early September applicant, hope you guys get it
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.

Thank you @poper. Too true. The August entries have ballooned over time, so I expect September to climb too but still a long way to go to 83.

hi all,
I wanted to share my experience of applying to ILR Tier 2 - SET O. I know that there isn't really a pattern to how HO deals with the applications but as somebody said already - this forum only covers a very small % of applications that HO receive. I think in Q3 2020 there was 6K applications like mine but only around 50-100 can be traced on this forum.
my suggestion would be - if you have an urgency of some sort (health, family, personal reasons) you should contact your local MP. mine was super responsive and although i've received the response before the MP could contact HO (which was a great outcome anyway!) i would say it's worth a try. But also understand that you have to really explain why they should be escalating your application.
another suggestion - make sure you DO NOT provide information that you were not asked to provide. eg tenancy agreements from the past 5 years, 5 years of payslips, bank statements. the more documents you submit the longer it will take HO to do checks. and they have to check everything that gets submitted. as by submitting something you claim this as important for their consideration.
If you travel a lot - provide a simple file where your travel history is reference to pages in your passport with stamps (border control). makes it faster to check for the case worker.
I got my response over email - it was plain and simple "Application for ILR was successful"
A few days later I got another email for FedEX tracking for my BRP.
By the way - my right to work page was updated to "no limit" immediately after getting the decision email but now its invalid, i suppose thats because my old BRP is now being replaced with the new one.
these are kind of my personal burning questions that i was looking to figure out when applying.
hope this is useful, wish everyone a lot of patience and don't be afraid to seek help if you're stressed out by this ILR waiting game!

Hi, I had a quick question that I can't quite seem to find an answer to here. In uploading my documents to the UKVCAs - do I scan and upload every single page of my passport, spouse's passport, and my previous passport? or just the front and back page?
I am applying under SET (M) for ILR.
Apologies if this has been covered before.

Best practice to scan all pages. As a minimum, compulsory pages are front, back and all pages with immigration stamps and visa vignettes.

I applied SET LR on 25th Aug, and I am still waiting. Hopefully, good news will come in this week.

I applied for Set (O) but when I went into my biometrics appt where they scanned all my documents. The lady at UKVACS said she needed to scan every page of my passport that had any stamps or visas on them. So I would recommend scanning all pages that are have been used on your passport.
