In very polite way , I was told to FO , sorry- to write an email....

Hi,

I received the Citizenship ceremony invitation email from the home office today.
Just wondering if this is the replacement of the physical invitation letter or do I still need to wait for the post letter?

Due to the following paragraph, I think it's a digital invitation letter and I may not get the physical one.
What you must do now
Please contact the Citizenship Ceremonies Officer of your Council to book your ceremony. You must attend your ceremony within three months of the date of this approval email, so please contact the local authority early to ensure you can book a convenient time. Please wait two working days after receiving this approval before you try to book, as it may take a few days for documentation to arrive at the local authority.

Congrats and I have no idea if this is new but I hope it is something new.

by any chance did you mean 11 Dec or 11 Nov. 11 Nov means you got it a while back.

That is great to hear. Hounslow council also claims that now one will receive EMAIL so that kinds of confirms it.

Hi all,

I can see that people from October have received invitation emails. We got approved in the 14th October but have not received anything yet. :( Can someone share an email address for me to chase this?.

Anyone from manchester with October approval got their invitation?

Anyone approved before MID-Oct received any email invitation...?

I was approved on 6th Oct & not received anything yet.
I'm thinking it may be for approvals from a certain date... Hope not, but appears that way at the moment.

I am not sure which order emails are pushed(approval date or something else) or they do it batches or caseworker manually sends it or they first check with council for availability and only then send it etc. I am sure you will receive it soon.

I've wondered that too, what order do they process them in... I am hoping for next week according to the estimated timelines... Its just so exciting when you see things starting to progress, just have to be cautious not to get too excited..
I do feel for those approved in August & before, and hope you get answers soon too.

Nothing for end of September as well.
I was advised by email that my letter and certificate to the council would be despatched today by 2nd class post.

No idea about this new process by email. Glad for the new applicants but I can't wrap my head around HO logic here... last come first served...

Hello guys,

My council informed me that they have received my certificate and asked if whether I have received invitation letter. My approval was on 22 October. Anyone is similar situation? I haven't received initiation letter yet.
