Thank you- Will I have to prove this like how are we sharing the responsibility?
There is really no set way to prove it other than simply replying accordingly, and attaching few evidences which you already have. Remember, all of these won't be impactful on the outcome.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

We signed up for council eBills as we weren't receiving copies for last 2 months.

Right after signing up we paid the bill and got copies. Initially it was a single copy with mutal names but after eBills we got separate copies.

Here is the problem, on old copies everything was fine but on new copy my wife's surname is misspelled.

e.g if it was Dunk now it's Dnuk.

What should I do now? Should I not sent it at all or send it and explain in covering letter?

As every other information is correct. We have changed this one on portal too and should be fine in next bill. Please advise.

In terms of evidences for this, council tax Bills are enough or we need her bank statement too?

Under the question of Shared Financial Responsibilities question, I am not sure how to explain it after selecting YES.

Though my wife work and doesn't actually contribute... How can I answer that question? Please guide.

Question: Do you and your partner have any shared financial responsibilities?

A. YES

Detail: Please list your shared financial responsibilities and how much you each pay each month.

A. For now I am paying all our bills and rent but if in future in any case I am not able to pay then she will be responsible for paying.

Is this a logical answer?

If I answer this, can I get asked how will she pay if she doesn't work?
She has an account with some savings, can details of that account be provided? If YES. Then 6 months bank statement?

Please advise. Stuck on this question, everything else is completed.

Whichever answer you provide should not adversely affect the outcome. Lot of homes where only one partner works and pays the bills and declared same in application and got positive outcome.

I have submitted the application and have been asked to "Attend an appointment to provide your documents and biometrics by 18 February 2021".

I checked all the Service Points and and there was no appointmet available for next month till 14th Jan.

My visa expires on 7th January. How would it impact my situation? Do I have to leave the country?

Don't worry yourself too much. You are still protected under section 3c until decision has been made on your application as long as you have submitted your application online prior before your leave is due to expire.

Thank you - Another question.

As I have checked all the centres and couldn't finf any appointment. Though I would be checking everyday,

but in any case if I am not able to get an appointment before 18th of February (mentioned deadline).

What would happen then?
Do I have to contact someone in this scenario?

Do I need to book different appointment for my wife?
Are her Biometric required?

I found appointments for 15th Jan but even standard services were over £135 total.

Then I found one termed as Free, I booked that one and wasn't charged anything except sms services. Didn't opt for document scanning or checking.

Is it possible to have a free one or could be an error?

Only the applicant has to enroll biomterics. Not the British sponsor.

There are free appointments, very few so you are lucky you got one.

Hello there,

What should I provide to my employer during the time when my application is pending?

Is there any letter I can request from HomeOffice and provide it to employer? Please advise.

You don't get a Certificate of application for a spouse visa. The CoA is for EU route applications not UK immigration route applications.

There is no standard sample of cover letter.
It is an ad hoc document suited to each applicants particular circumstances.
The sample letter addresses any point or matter that could not be robustly dealt with in the application, or any matter the applicant feel needs to be explained further.
