Spouse visa Extension application in UK

Hi, i am British Citizen Now we are preparing for my wife's (Indian Citizen) visa extension for additional 2.5 years, after an initial 2.5 years of a spouse visa. I remember her initial application was done as a settlement application in India.

the online application form has a Q> Your current Permission to be in UK.
there are 2 options both seems relavant: Settlement and Family, which one should i select?

If I select settlement it doesn't ask any follow-up questions.
if I select Family it asks is your Partner British, etc etc options.

Then select family. Until near past choosing either of these options worked similarly despite I always inclined to settlement because visa is still called as settlement visa. But in above scenario just select family.

but her initial Application was under a settlement visa, so I am confused by answering the Family visa it could switch the Visa category.

(If i select settlement it goes to how many years since you been living in Uk etc, so Application continues it doesn't stop, i meant to say that with no followup question)

You can add a covering letter that you are applying under 5 years of route.

Spouse visa leading to settlement is a family visa. See below:
