How many people here approved very late sep ? 29 , 28 , 30 sep ?
Hi,
I was approved 29th September. I contacted the home office over a week ago and was told that my certificate and invitation will be sent in 10day.
I haven’t still received my invitation.
For the past few months I have been trying to book y ceremony online using the ref no from my approval email but it wasn’t letting me. Early this morning, I tried and the system found my details and I was able to book a ceremony for January. I was wondering, does this mean that my certificate is with the council?
Yes, it means they have your certificate, make sure to check if they require you to present invitation letter.

I have no idea.
I am returning from Europe in mid January, so I have asked for some date after arriving.
Ah ! Important thing to my previous post !
Actually, I have written an email, informing them that my certificate is already with council .
Believe you or not - I got that electronic invitation letter from them, very next day !

Even by @Baybars1 model. We are supposed to get between 16th Dec - 30th Dec. Seems spot on. I am hoping before Christmas.
Yes, we will definitely receive in between these date, but I have seen one more post today that someone has received invitation yesterday (application submission date was 25th June) . I hope we will get invitation next week...

I emailed last week and they responded the next day telling me it was already scheduled to be posted the next day. (And given the date on the certificate, it was already printed then). As you are just one week behind me (but it's not exact science), I would trust you will get yours by the end of this week hopefully! HO is playing it close with the 12 week announced timeline currently!

Hi Immiboarders

You all have helped many people with their immigration queries and successful outcomes. I am following this channel for a very long time to get updates on naturalization application. I am posting my timeline here

Citizenship application Applied- June 15, 2020
BIometrics submitted via App - Sep 4 , 2020
Biometrics submitted at Croydon - Sep 21 ,2020
Approval Email - Sep 25 , 2020
Invitation by Post - Dec 14 ,2020 (Dated Dec 3)

I reside in Hounslow and would like to ask one question about group ceremony booking. Can multiple applicants book single private ceremony so that we can share the cost of private ceremony as 6 people are allowed

On the 9th Dec, I emailed NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gov.uk to ask when likely they'll be printing my certificate. Two days later (11th) I received the citizenship ceremony letter via email. Today (14th), I phoned Nottingham City Council to ask if they got my certificate and he confirmed that they've received my certificate on Thursday but even though I got the ceremony invite from the HO, I can't book a ceremony yet because I have to wait for their letter (guy on the phone said to be posted today and could take up to 5 days to be received) which they have to assign me a date of my ceremony.
It's so frustrating that I have to wait for the council's invitation to attend the ceremony! Another thing is, last week's certificates are already been assigned until 7th Jan 2021.
