Expiring Visa

Hello ,

I have a work permit expiring on the 16th of january 2021 ( i have a dependant visa that cannot be renewed)

I would like to know if i need to tell my employer that my visa is expiring, if so should i give them my one month notice or just let them know that my visa is expiring at that date.

Ask your employer if they can sponsor you. They need to have a license. Work visa are easier now than ever.

Otherwise, yes, you need to let them know.

You should tell them now. Legally you can give whatever your contractual notice is (eg 1 month, or 1 week), but it is best to be open.
