@Nature11

Even by @Baybars1 model. We are supposed to get between 16th Dec - 30th Dec. Seems spot on. I am hoping before Christmas.
Yes, we will definitely receive in between these date, but I have seen one more post today that someone has received invitation yesterday (application submission date was 25th June) . I hope we will get invitation next week...
Hi CULLINAN,

I have received ceremony invitation yesterday. 9:00am and I have also booked private ceremony for 23rd Dec...
as they don't have free slot until mid-march 2021.
Wow. You are lucky to get a private ceremony for 23rd Dec. The earliest private ceremony they offered me was mid January 2021. I hope you have read my previous messages as I got my invitation yesterday Friday 9AM also. How come they never offered me 23rd Dec. Did you receive on Thursday 17th or Friday 18th?

End of week of 28 for invitation wait - thats 6,5 months of waiting so far and still waiting.
My MP is still pushing home office for answers and to clarity on the dates etc. So still waiting .
Any of MARCH/APRIL/MAY/JUNE - still waiting ?
How are you progressing with your cases ?
I'm still waiting, March approval. A couple of weeks ago Citizenship Support told me the issue was investigated as an urgent matter. No further updates, no letter, no certificate.. No response on the complaint either.
Did you get any updates at all?
Me too, March approval. I have done everything I can. I called the helpline again on 17 Dec, they gave me a ref number and then the next day I got a very long email asking for more details. The email says I should hear from them within 10 working days. I don't trust that I will get a reply within 10 working days but will wait as I don't have any option.
I might give the helpline another call on Monday , its good that you received some sort of reply tho . will keep everything crossed for you

That is great. You have been lucky. Yes the same lady called me around 345pm yesterday but offered me mid January private for £250 and I accepted it 🙄 But its okay. Maybe I will check with them on Monday for any cancellations.

You mean applying British Passport?
Yes you will need to post originals to HMPO after applying online. Original naturalisation certificate and overseas passport.

PS: We have identical timelines and the same council too lol.

Technically I did get a response within 10 working days after I called the helpline and they escalated my case - I got an email from citizenship.support who used to ignore me. They said they apparently had some technical issue and that's why the paperwork wasn't printed. They didn't provide any timelines though, it's been a couple of weeks and I got no further updates.

I'm afraid that the HO didn't have a procedure to handle the approvals during the early spring lockdown, so they didn't properly mark in the system that the paperwork on these applications still needs to be printed. Or even marked the applications as complete and never came back to it. I asked my MP if it's possible to escalate this issue within the HO. I don't have hopes this is going to be resolved during the holiday season, so probably will follow up with the MP in January.
Please post if you find any way to get this resolved!

Also just a suggestion. I would suggest NOT to apply for a British Passport in the festive period. Due to closures and royal mail high demand, I would suggest to apply when things get back to normal rather being stuck in the backlog (due to HMPO closures) or post delays etc. Things will get back to normal around first week of January after 5th. Ideally to avoid backlogs apply around 10th Jan and post documents on 11th Jan Monday. Obviously it is your choice though when to apply.

My personal view is that Baysbar model doesn't work anymore, It feels like it stopped working after September approvals. I think some fellow members who got approved via email are exceptions including CULLINAN. It does look like his model worked but I think those guys are exception. We all have been receiving email from HO office saying they haven't printed or posted October Approvals.

Speak to them if any cancellation come up before your ceremony date... people always cancel private one... because of the money they are charging
I need to send passport , original naturalisation certificate . what about ILR Card?

Read the ceremony invitation from HO. It tells you exactly what to do with ILR - BRP and when and where to return it.

Children become British effective from the date on the registration certificate. Just return now as the ILR - BRP invalid and can not use for travel

You (adults) return ILR-BRP after you attend the ceremony and become British - within 5 working days after ceremony

3rd. I read here that home office asking for DBS check provide. If I am on travel so how can I send DBS while on travel. Please advise.
HO can contact anytime they wish via post/email. Ideally there should be someone to keep an eye on the post to avoid any additional documents request deadlines breach (if HO contacts in case)
