Applying for british passport question

My 7 year old daughter was born in UK and now have UK citizenship (Certificate of Registration).

She does currently hold an indian passport, I would like to apply her british passport now.

can someone clarify when I should surrender her indian passport please? i.e. after getting her british passport or before as she already have a UK citizenship?

Do it now, and get the Surrender Certificate.

After you get the British Passport, apply for the OCI with the Surrender Certificate.
