Flr fp

Post by H85 » Sat Nov 07, 2020 3:27 pm

Hello can anyone help please?

My wife got a spouse visa in 2014 on 5 year route

In 2017 applied for extension but fell short of financial requirement so got put on 10 year route.

In January need to apply for extension, could you please tell me what documents we need?

Do we need English test again? Last time she done A2 level.

Also I earn the financial requirement now but I will stick with 10 year route. Is that the best way

Thank you

For flrfp visa under 10 years of route the English test isn't needed despite the application form starts asking it strangely but the pertinent guidance is still unchanged.

I don’t want to be put on 5 year route and then later on if can’t meet financial requirements and be put back on 10 year route again OK on that if no assurance of meeting up subsequently then stay on the route you are on. It does not require you to show or meet English language requirement.

If you still wish then yes you can as it won't be considered due to not being required.

Helllo I was just doing the application for Flr fp extension and it’s asking question about financial requirement. I thought you didn’t need to provide details about financial requirement.]Am I doing the right application form?

The forms are generic, details you provide will tailor the form to your circumstances as you proceed. To ensure remaining on 10yr route then don't provide financial or income details. State it clearly that you want to remain on 10-year route.

Hi if I click no, I don’t meet financial requirements. The next section asks about work and income. I can’t click no because I do work.

In 2024 my wife would have completed 10 years in the uk can I apply for ilr then. If they put Her on 5 year or 10 I will stil have to apply for another extension to rich 10 years

This is a generic form, used by all FLR categories, the best way to deal with it is to write a cover letter explaining your situation also add all the important paragraphs from last decision letter you received from UKVI so they know what they are dealing with.
