Child born outside UK - possibility to register as British

Hi CR001 and other senior members,

As my wife and two of my children are still PBS dependents and will be applying for LTR under same route, can you please explain what impacts will it have on their applications if I claim public funds as a British Citizen? Or in other words, can I claim public funds (UC) and my dependents still apply for PBS dependent LTR?

Apparently my wife's claim will be declined and only I will be getting funds under household income.
