Do I need to apply for a new BRP? (Non - EEA with Existing BRC)

Post by chriskv1 » Tue Jan 19, 2021 5:03 pm

Hi everyone,
I got my settled status about 10 days ago and was wondering if I need to make another application to have my BRC changed to the EUSS one?
I have an existing BRC which was issued about 3 years ago.

Kind regards

Your current BRC is valid until June 30th 2021. See this post.

After that, if you need a physical biometric card (e.g. for travel, prove your right to work, rent, etc.) then you might want to apply to convert your BRC into a EUSS BRC.
My posts express what I believe are the facts, based on the best of my knowledge, about the topics discussed in this forum. They do not constitute immigration advice.

Many thanks for the prompt response Kamoe.
That thread is very informative.
It's very disheartening that the home office isn't offering straightforward guidance on some matters related to EUSS and it falls upon members like you to compile info and do the job for them.
