Can Garda Síochána sign Statutory Declaration on Naturalisation Form?

Hi, apart from solicitor, can an Garda Síochána sign Statutory Declaration on form 8 for naturalisation? All Solicitors my friend contacted don't want any physical contact due to covid-19. The only alternative is Garda, can they do it?

I had a guardai witness my statutory declaration on my application and it was sent back to me to have it witnessed by a commissioner of oaths.
Unfortunately I don't think they accept this

Best option is peace commissioner search your local peace commissioner or ask your nearest Garda station they will tell you about your local peace commissioner
