question regarding MN1 form

Post by a85 » Mon Jan 18, 2021 3:38 pm

Hi Everyone,

I hope this email finds every one safe, particularly in this uncertain time. I just got my ILR approved, therefore I am filling MN1 form for my uk born son (2 yrs old). Looking at the checklist I sees these;

• Proof of Mr daddy's parental responsibility for Mr baby.

• Proof of Mrs mama's parental responsibility for Mr baby.

• Mr baby's birth certificate (showing details of both parents)

Does all these are the same as the birth certificate?

I would appreciate if someone could clarify this.

Best wishes

Yes, Child's birth certificate is enough for these 3 checklist items.

Thanks everyone, and I have learnt a lot from this ferum.

Just wanted to double check the documents I'm submitting documents for my Son's MN1 form (he is 2 and born in the UK, and only father got ILR)

1. Son's passport
2. Son's current BRP (he has a T2 dependent visa)
3.Fathers passport (all the pages) and ILR (I included front and back of the BRP card)
4.Son's Birth Certificate
5. Marriage Certificate
6. Consent Form (only the first page (parents page) is signed and the second (guardian) and third (child) we decided not to include)
7. Two referees forms (we could not find the one who is in contact with Son professionaly, so we went for two referees who meet criteria for adult applicants)
8. Mather passport and brp (its not ilr brp)

That's it. Are we missing anything?

I would appreciate if someone could give comments on this. Thanks in advance :)

Hi everyone,

I could not manage mange to find a referee who is in contract with my 3 yrs old child in a professional capacity. Therefore, I filled the form by a professional referee accepted for an adult. I explained in the cover letter that I tried (with email communication).

Suddenly, the dental surgery contacted me that they are able to do it for my son.

I already submitted the application , however the biometrics is in 3 days. I already have submitted the other forms. Do I need to update my documents?

If so, with what document? Do I need to update the online form where it asks referee information (personal information such as dob, passport number , etc).

I would appreciate if you guide me, as I have only 3 days left.

Best wishes,
