Additional proof of residency could be official letters or documents, such as Council Tax bill, HMRC notices/letters, DWP Child Benefit/Pensions, ....
Regarding self-assessment return attach a note that you haven't done one yet. Perhaps you could include a screen shot of your HMRC self-employment status screen, if there is such a thing.

Thank you.

It looks like I might have lost my BRP. Am I going to have to apply for a new one before we apply for citizenship?

And secondly, when we make the application to apply for citizenship should we apply for our daughter on the same application or do we need to apply for her separately because she is just getting registered as a british citizen?

Appreciate your help.

Cheryl

Do you have a letter from the Home Office confirming your ILR? I believe that should be sufficient evidence. Not familiar with applying for a replacement BRP, but I think that could take a while.

When you have input your own application there will be an option to include family members, in your case you would select child under 18 and the system will adjust the input screen.

Yes but she needs a MN1 form so its a different application.

Will that still be fine?

I think a child born outside of SA to SA parents only acquires SA citizenship ("by descent") if her birth is registered with SA authorities. Did you do it?
If not, your daughter might be stateless. And a stateless child born in UK is automatically UK citizen. So it might be that you do not have to apply for her and pay.
It is rather far-fetched, but see here:

This is not correct advice. The child still needs to be registered as British on form MN1. There is no automatic citizenship unless born to a parent who holds ilr or is British at the time of the birth.

A, sorry, you are right! Then it does not make a difference in this case (though probably might if parents would be in a more shaky status?)
There are countries which automatically grant citizenship to a child born there, if the child has no other citizenship, but indeed not UK

Ok, but my original question was:

Can I apply for her British Citizen Registration (MN1) with the same application as ours which is for UK Citizenship?

And then I did ask quite a while back on this thread what I need to write on my daughter's application under nationality. It was never really answered.

Do I write stateless since she was born here but we haven't registered her yet?

Hi,

So I have applied for our citizenship for myself, my husband and my daughter.

But its asking me to book an appointment now to go drop off documents but when I go to the calendar for the closest service centre there are no available slots?

What do I do now?

Hi,

I am trying to book an appointment at UKCVAS and its asking for £600 for the appointment, why am I paying that much for Biometrics?

Hi,

Can someone please get back to me about this?
There are no appointments available. What am I supposed to do?
