If you are in the age group for a vaccine in the UK but can only get 1 vaccine berfore your visit is over, will your country give you the second vaccine on your return? Will they have the same vaccine as you were given in the UK? The UK states second vaccine before 12 weeks (which is why these are given at 11 weeks), but what does your country state?
True.Singapore had prioritised their own citizens for testing but not their temporary workers, who then became the vector for further transmissions of the virus within the wider community, defeating the purpose of testing.Frontier Mole wrote: ↑Sun Feb 21, 2021 9:55 pmIt is advantageous for the UK to test and vaccinate for COVID regardless of immigration status. The community benefits in controlling the virus for anyone in the UK outweighs the potential cost to UK plc in testing / vaccines.
Please encourage anyone of any immigration status to test if there are symptoms or use the no symptom testing where available. Where possible, if there is access to vaccinations to utilise the opportunity.
