t2-skilled worker-sopra steria-appointments

Hi All,

I have been sponsored by the company and application is submitted last week but the appointment is booked after 4 weeks.
This is all managed by the company HR department and it is standard application.

- If the next day/same day / weekend/out of office services of sopra steria available due to covid ?
- Can i contact sopra steria and change/buy services ? Please note i do not have any email as that is all with the company HR department.

I am worried as i have booked holidays in early june and the standard processing time after BRP is 8-12 weeks.

Any help is appreciated ..

Ukcvas is only for biomterics. If you wanted super priority or priority service, you should have selected that in the visa application form.

Regardless, there are delays in getting appointments and they are generally about 28 days from when you apply online at the moment.

Thanks a lot for the response.

The priority and super priority was not approved by the company due to cost.

So if the time frame of 8 to 12 weeks is from the application submission or from biometrics ?

regarding the appointments - is it true that there are no next day weekends services available at all?

Aah..so,it is 4weeks plus 8 to 12..
Thats surely going to be an issue but the looks of it..
And that is why I am trying to see if I can get the earlier appointment to cut few weeks...
So does Sopra steria have next day same day or weekend appointments pls

It depends on availability and location
You also have to cancel your existing appointment before you can see availability

oh that is an issue as i may loose the appointment booked and other may not be available.
a few more queries if that is ok.

I am on dependent visa and my partner is main applicant. In this visa my partner is going to move as my dependent and i will be main.

Current status application submitted/no biometrics:
1. What happens to current leave if i cancel this application ? if the status remains the same ?
2. When can my partner leave her current job/sponsor ? Only after successful decision or brp ?
3. What happens to current leave if this application is not successful?

1. Do i get refund of the IHS surcharge for the existing visa?
2. What is the process/timeline for the same ?
3. does it come back to the payment card or goes to sponsor of the current visa only ?
