No UT sent. The application is very simple, no claim on earnings thus no tough 'considertation'.

Hi,
Many Congratulations Satnov.

Hi OB40, hoefully we will get some good news in few days time.
My application is also straight forward one with move from WP to Tier-1 without dependents and the reference number was dated on 26th Aug.

Regards,
itguy_uk
Hi itguy_uk,

I hope so. The problem is that they dont seem to be moving beyond 27 Aug. When they move beyond 27 Aug that's when we would know that some of the currently pending cases have been resolved.

I always thought that my case was also straight forward when I first applied in May through a consultant who screwed it up bad. By the time the Home Office got back to me with the issues in my application my leave had expired. They asked me to apply again but quit my job. So I am awaiting the result very anxiously.

I have 4 dependants. Does the number of dependants affect the speed of processing.

Regards

Hi,

Called Home Office today. They said they are currently processing applications received upto 29th Aug. But the answering machine still says 27th Aug.. :?:

Has anyone got any update ?

Hi OB40,

You are welcome.

Tried my luck second time..But this time, i have chosen the Judicial Review (option 2). One kind lady picked up the call. She asked for the reference number and then after checking she told that " your application is in the final stages " :?: . But she actually refused to tell the actual result.

What does that mean ? Any idea whether it has been approved or rejected ? Has anyone got such a response from Home Office ?

Hi All,

Just phoned Head office!! The women on phone said that my case is currently with a case worker. Now I applied for "Tier 1" on September 5 and as mentioned above, answering machine still says 27th August?? Go figure!! :?

I am not complaining, if indeed my case is with a case worker & hoping for a happy ending :) but all this is very confusing :(

September 08 Application are currently processing

Post by Sep08T1Applicant » Fri Oct 03, 2008 11:10 am

Hi All,
Hope everyone is fine and doing gr8, I know people are waiting for so long for having their results.

Homeoffice automated voice message is telling we are currently processing application recieved on 29th of August 2008.

I luckily spoke to one of the representative at HO, she told me we are currently processing applications recieved on 08/09/2008 (8th of September 2008) which is a good news. The lady also told me your application is still waiting for allocation which might take couple of days more, so figer crossed.

I just wanted to share this information with you all.

My timelines are :
Application sent 06/09/2008
Ack receieved : 10/09/2008 (dated 09/09/2008)
Waiting for allocation yet...

Have been waiting for almost 3.5 months now for my docs to get back from HO. Havent called them for more than 2 weeks now as there is no point, as i already know the answer " Still under consideration"

soo frustrated with this whole thing that i cant explain.I would like to think that my case is straight forward as i have UK employer and Degree from very good UNI. Havent been back home for more than 2 years and also my grandma is very sick. it would be nice to go and see her, my family and celebrate diwali with them but this situation is soo unclear that cant even book a flight or plan anything in life. this is just outrageous and crazy. I dnt think its fair to keep hold of anyones passport for 4 months. its just sooo frustrating, i am trying to stay calm and positive but this wait is just killing me . i know we are at the recieveing end and we need to be paitent but there has to be some sort of rules and regulations for these people.

who cares about immigrants anyways ......................... i am going mad.

Hi

Consgratulations and many thanks for the update. Can you please also let us know what kind of application was yours, (e.g., WP->Tier1, IGS->Tier1, JR etc.) and also if you applied for urgent treatment.

It wasn't an urgent treatment but quite a straightforward Student visa into Tier 1 (Post-Study). However, I was a bit anxious as I submitted only bank statement with the balance of £800 rather than £800 over three months period.

Olya,

So you mean it was a Tier 1 (PSW) and not a Tier 1 (General)?

If its a Tier 1 (PSW) then you are only required to show a closing balance of at least £800 if the application is made before 31 October 2008, thus the evidence would have been perfectly sufficient.

This seems like South African BHC are working quite fast and the max processing time is 3 days...that's brilliant...

All the best, and welcome to UK :)
