Spouse Visa Pre-settled status?

Post by mallakxxx666 » Tue Mar 16, 2021 2:00 pm

Hi,

I am a non eu national who has settled status.
My non eu wife got her spouse visa and arrived in Uk during november 2020.

Do I need to apply for pre-settled status for her?

If so, I have filled the application online and the biometrics are required. The enrollment website is charging 138 pounds to do so. Is that a normal procedure/ costs?

Thanks

No. This doesn't apply to your spouse. You cannot apply for pre settled status for her as you are not an EU citizen.

Her visa she has is presumably valid for 2.5 years??

Then she simply applies for an extension on form FLR M before her current visa expires. English A2 minimum will be required and you need to meet the financial requirements again. Visa fee and IHS will be payable again.
