DEPENDENT VISA

Post by shahnirali877 » Sat Feb 20, 2021 7:31 pm

Hi,

Generally in DEPENDENT VISA of student full-time work is allowed for dependent however My friends husband got tier 4 dependent visa and its mentioned in BRP that work is not allowed

Also, when My friend's husband was at LHR immigration he was told by Immigration officer that he cant work in the UK. Can someone please advise in this matter why this happened and is there any procedure to write to UKVI and ask for full-time work allowed.

My friend took admission into Masters in International Business administration level 7. The course is for 15 months.

Please advise.

Thanks for reading and help in advance.

Seems like an error, but if they have missed the window of opportunity to have BRP errors corrected, they will need to apply for a new one.

Thanks for your reply

In My friend's husband`s passport visa stamp it`s written no work no business, can it be an error or they have given intentionally no work allowed what to understand and how to rectify this.

yes as you said there can be an error in issuing biometric so apply for a new biometric that we got it but I meant that even in visa stamp they have written no work means in visa stamp also there can be an error as visa stamp and biometric card both are different

So we were confused. Thanks for your time and advise

Hi Nirali,
Has this been resolved?
If so, what steps you have taken?
My Sister's husband has the same issue, vignette and brp card both reads "No work no engaging business"
I would be grateful if you could please guide me through as they are really tensed.

Hi, I am having the same issue, *no work and no business* in my dependent visa too, can this be because my wife received a scholarship from the university?
