Changing jobs on T2 visa

Hi

I am working with my current employer on T2 expiring in 2022.

I found myself a new job which can sponsor me T2 as well (call skilled worker visa nowadays). I got some questions in my head and cant seem to find the answer anywhere, any help will be really appreciated.


1. Assuming the start date of my new job is on the 1/08/2021, but the last day of my current job is on 30/06/2021, so from 1/7/2021 to 31/07/2021 I am going to be unpaid, not working and remaining in the UK. And the new employer visa start from 1/8/2021. Will I be in the UK leagally from 1/7/2021 to 31/7/2021?

2. If I have been sacked by my employer on T2 visa, how many days before I have to leave the UK if I don't find another T2 employer?

1. Yes, you will be legal during the change of job.

2. It depends on when you receive a curtailment letter from the HO. It can take weeks or months, nobody is able to say an exact time for this.

Any body have more insight on question 1 and question 2?
