Spouse Visa - Countries Visited Question

Hi,

I want to check when a spouse visa is granted for the first time from e.g. Pakistan, what is the maximum time period where my spouse will have to enter the UK?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Just to confirm, the visa validity will be e.g. around 2 1/2 - 3 years initially, and the spouse will have to travel to UK within 90 days of the day she received the visa?

The initial visa vignette in the passport is to facilitate travel to the UK.

Once in the UK, the person collects their biomtric residence card from the nominated post office. The card is valid for 2.5 years.

I understand that for spouse visa application, English language requirement is to pass IELTS Life Skills - A1 test. However, if someone has done IELTS General (7.5 score) instead, can this meet the requirement? Thanks

Does the IELTS General has a UKVI number on the certificate?

If it has the UER and is at the appropriate level.

It must have UKVI for IELTS while UER number is meant for trinity college.

Hi all,

While filling in the online form for spouse visa, there is a question that ask about the countries you have visited in the last 10 years. If someone has visited the same country multiple times within that period, is it expected that we mention the same country multiple times with separate arrival and departure dates for each of the visit? Or do we just mention the country once with the latest travel dates?
