State Pension (Non-Contributory) affect Citizenship Application

Hi folks,

Just a general question as I have been asked this by some of my friends.

I was wondering if State Pension (Non-Contributory) for Non-EU elderly dependent (over the age of 66yrs) would affect Citizenship Application?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My parents Non-EU elderly dependents (over the age of 66yrs) have EUFAM stamp 4 visa. Can they apply for State Pension (Non-Contributory)?
Would it affect their Citizenship Application?

Applicants are not supposed to use any means-tested social benefits in the last 3 years at least, the Minister makes the final decision. However, the chance of application getting refused is very high.

You more than likely will be refused if claiming benefits.
