regarding COS

Hi all,
Good day,
I have a question, I am a tier 4 student and my wife is tier 4 dependent. So while applying COS for my wife on skilled worker visa route, which COS should be applied, is it Defined COS OR UNDEFINED COS.

Please help.

Depends where she is applying form, UK or abroad.

Defined cos is for entry clearance applications made abroad.

Undefined cos is for applications made within the UK.

Hi cr001, I found in previous years posts that for a tier 4 dependent (INSIDE UK) to shift to tier 2, we need to apply for restricted cos(@manci) mentioned it. So in the same way is it not the defined Cos should we apply now for tier 4 dependent (inside uk) to shift to skilled work visa .
Sorry ,just want to know exactly.
