Spouse Visa - 10 year route queries

Hi all,

Hope you're well and safe. I have a couple of queries about my spouse's upcoming immigration application.

My wife will legally complete her 10 years in the UK soon. I am a British national and she's currently on a dependent/spouse visa until 2023 and a Bangladeshi national.


My queries are:

1. Will she be able to apply 28 days prior to her completion of 10 years?

2. Will she be able to apply a same-day visa service for ILR?

3. If no same-day service is available, roughly how long does it take for this 10 year ILR visa to be approved, please?

4. What documents she'll need and also what documents/declarations I have to provide and/or make, please?

To the best of my knowledge, same-day service is not available for people on the SET(LR) path. In any case, due to the pandemic, premium service is not available for most applications.

Super priority list of eligible applications was updated a few weeks ago, set LR now included. There are however limited super priority slots.
