Am i eligible for ILR?

Post by Godsown67 » Sat May 08, 2021 8:10 am

Hi everyone,
I have a question please. I am currently on a spousal dependant visa and eligible for ILR in September 2022. We have a son who is 8 years old, can i apply for ILR now as a parent based on my son being more than 7 years old and already a British citizen? Or can i only apply for ILR using the current spousal route that I’m currently on.

Thank you.

There is no such ILR based on a child route.

You need 5 years on a spouse visa before you can apply for ilr.
