Department sent same letter twice

Hi one of my friend applied for Irish naturlization in 2018. Recently he got letter from department regarding explanation of his 2 different addresses one in employment letter and in child birth certificate. Now department asking why he has 2 different addresses while he mention one address in his application for naturlization also asking about all addresses in ireland since he is in ireland.
Now question is if he mentions more address although it was temporary and short duration will it be more delay in his application or any other negative consequences?? Anyone who faces similar issues? He can't provide proof of addresses as it was temporary so he has no bills in his name for that address.

write an explanation and give full list of addresses.

Thanks will it delay application processes? Its already 3 year waiting. Is it possible that they give negative decisions after mentioning addresses before and after submission of application.
