Incubator Visa for Ireland

Post by Ximon » Sun Jun 06, 2021 3:43 pm

Anyone familiar with the Incubator Visa programme? As I understand it, it acts as a a pre-STEP programme that gives an individual the right to live in Ireland for up to one year while they plan their Irish business by joining an approved Irish startup incubator/accelerator. No upfront financial investment is required.

I could find very little about this programme on Inis' website and nothing about it on the Enterprise Ireland web site.

http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Mi ... 0Programme

Wondering what the specific process is to join an approved incubator and whether the programme has had any success.

You were referring to a press release that was 7 years old. In the world of politics where new directives and policies emerge every few months, this is ancient.

All the most up-to-date policies regarding IIP & STEP are on the INIS website https://www.irishimmigration.ie/start-u ... whatisstep
