Referee - Assistant Manager

Hi All,

I`m applying to become a British Citizen and I wonder if you could please help,

I`m having difficulties finding an appropriate Referee with the right credentials, would an Assistant Manager (of a VAT registered Company) qualify to be a Referee?

In this case the person in question is a Facilities Assistant Manager, if not, let`s say the person is a Manager of a Cleaning Company, or a Scaffolding Company, etc, (all of a VAT registered Company) would the person qualify?

My logical thinking is that if the word "Manager" features on the person`s job title, then they would qualify.

Please advise and many thanks in advance for your help.
