Dependant (Spouse + Child) ILR

Post by Abby10 » Tue Jun 15, 2021 11:08 am

Hello Everyone,

Trust you are doing well.

I got my ILR last year through Tier-2 General 5 Years route. My wife and daughter came to UK exactly a year after my arrival so I understand they will be eligible this year.
Please can you let me know
1. Which route & Application should I be applying for. Is it SET (O)?
2. Will I need to submit 2 application for each applicant (My daughter is just 6 years Old)
3. If you can share a link from where I can apply that will be very helpful.

I look forward for all your help on this.

Many Thanks

SET(O)
No, one application for both

Hello Team,

I have now started filling up the form as per the suggested link. I am applying ILR for my Wife and Child and I already hold ILR

Select a category in which you are applying for indefinite leave to remain. Skilled Worker or Tier 2 dependant
Are you the partner or child of your sponsor? Partner

There is a question
Which visa is Mr ********** applying for or been granted?

I have been granted ILR last year however, there is no option of ILR or Settlement. The nearest answer is Tier 2 (General) visa

Please can you advise?

You should choose Tier 2. Their ILR is based on the PBS route that YOU used to get ILR

Hi,

Firstly please bear with me as I things are coming up as I am filling up the form.

What is the ownership status of your home?

As mentioned this application is for my Wife. Whilst legally she is my wife while buying the house due to limitation (mortgage options, as she is not working) I had to buy the house under my name.

Should I select her as owner or add 'other' to it and give the following explanation

This property is owned by my Husband and I live with my Husband and Daughter

That question is not important. You can say she owns the place as you do. So she is not renting, etc

Hello It's me again. Sorry!!

As mentioned I already have an ILR and my partner (Wife) is applying for ILR now;

This form is so confusing:

Need to know the answer for the following please;

Which visa is Mr ******* applying for or been granted? and Do you have one of these reference numbers for Mr ***** ?
There is no option for ILR or settlement. How can we have any number when my status is already settled?

If they have one, what is Mr ****** sponsor licence number?
Again why is my Sponsor Licence number required when I already have an ILR

P.S. I have got my ILR on a 5 Year route Tier 2 General

Because the basis for their ILR is the fact that you held Tier 2 status and were granted ILR under that route. Choose Tier 2 and enter the old sponsor number. Do not worry about this
