Surname blank in Indian passport- apply for British Citizenship after Naturalization

Hello all,
Has anyone recently applied for a british passport with surname blank in the Indian passport and full name on the given name? How( in which format they got their British Passport in that case )since Surname cannot be left blank in the British passport( latest rules around it)? Also, what was the name format was reflected in Naturalization certificate ? Any suggestions for how to proceed( any steps to be taken) in this case where surname is blank in Indian Passport, to avoid any complications with British passport and with OCI card etc ?
