Shifting to Skilled worker Visa - Notice period to existing Tier 2 Sponsor

Hi All ,

Apologies if this question was already address in this forum.

I am currently in UK on ICT Tier 2 Visa , with Visa end date as 14th Aug 2021 and COS end date as 31st July 2021

I am expecting to get a new COS for Skilled Worker visa with a start date of 30Aug 2021 , and hoping to submit my visa application in 1st week of July.

My question is : Can I serve notice period legally here in UK between 31st July - 29th Aug 2021 , given that existing COS will expire on 31st July 2021?

Did your query resolved about serving notice period after the visa is expired with present employer?

The work end date in a CoS means the automatic end of the employment on that date (unless the employer assigns a new CoS) therefore there is no need to give notice.
