UAE is also on UK’s red list. Anyone coming through UAE even if via transit will have to hotel quarantine in UK on arrival and pay £1750.
Yes that's fine, I was aware of that (about the hotel quarantine) .. thanks but I was asking because of the issue of coming through Germany for "Nadbo's fiancé" - so was wondering if that is the case with every indirect flight .. ?
Yeah I was wondering that as well, I don't see what the issue is, surely if they have got a UK visa than why does it matter if they come to UK direct or indirect?
This is exactly what we thought. But the people at Islamabad airport decided not to allow him through. As I mentioned in the other post, we even asked for proof of this information and were denied it.

To be safe and to make life easier I would definitely suggest a direct flight. And another reason for direct flights, I noticed quite a few of the indirect flights i.e to UAE/Bahrain/Saudi etc are being cancelled in Pakistan anyway.

Hey
Sorry if this question have been asked already but I didn't found it.

I have heard that covid vaccine is required to travel from PAKISTAN TO UK. And if you didn't had vaccine they not allow you to enter at Pakistan airport?

Kindly let us know what is needed if someone travelling UK from Pakistan.
We checked UK government website and there is only 3 requirements
1. Covid test negative
2. Managed hotel quarantine
3. Locator form
There is nothing about vaccine.
Please if anyone experienced or know anything let us know. Thank you.

I’ve heard nothing about the vaccine. My fiancé came on 3rd June, there wasn’t this requirement then. I don’t know if it’s changed. But as I said I haven’t read anything about this.

Not sure where you read this, my sister in law travelled on 9 June and nothing about a vaccine was mentioned, it's not on the government website either as far as I can see.

Nadbo / wak9001

Thank you so much for your reply.
I was also trying find where it's written but can't see anywhere.
I heard it from 2 guys. They were saying it's mandatory for bording. That's why I asked here and I also confirmed with a travel agency, they said it's not required only need covid test.
Thank you guys for your response.

Covid vaccine is not required from pakistan to uk. Just covid test before you board and quarantine orfcourse which is a handsome business for some hotels.

Still in red list. No update on when the next list will be revamped. Pakistan has the lowest percentage of new cases of covid-19 and I have heard they are going to make changes for some countries to be on amber list by the end of this month. Otherwise quarantine is must and you have to pay the blood sucking amounts to the “government approved” hotels.

I was just wondering, how long does the visa entry stamp last for from Pakistan to the UK? I am asking because I know it used to be 1 month, but have they extended it to 3 months now because of the pandemic?

Also does anyone have information about what's going on in Pakistan, people are saying they require a double vaccination to fly now? Is that true, because there's a shortage in Astra Zeneca vaccines there at the moment.

They give it for 90 days. There is currently no requirement for vaccination to enter the Country. Even if you are double jabbed you will have to quarantine in the hotel if you are coming from Pakistan.
