Sponsoring parents to move to the UK on my ILR

Post by Anontier25 » Wed Jun 23, 2021 7:00 pm

Hello all,

I wondered if anyone has sponsored their parents to move to the UK permanently on the strength of their ILR?
Is such a thing allowed?

I am the sole child of my elderly parents and have been away from them for 21 years, and would like them to spend the remainder of their life with me. Do such visa categories exist, has anyone ever done something like this before and if so, what have been the rules one needs to satisfy?

Thank you for your help.

The only visa which is available for bring your parents from abroad is adult dependent relative which has a high refusal rate since it was introduced.

Read the requirements here.
