ATAS for MRes (Masters in Research)

Hi

My sister has received conditional offer from NTU (Nottingham Trent University) for MRes (Masters in Research) in Chemistry. As this is a research course, she needs to obtain ATAS certificate in order to get CAS.

She has applied for ATAS certificate on 22nd June 2021. We have 2 queries:

1. She has not received ANY email notification from ATAS website or UKVI regarding acknowledgement/acceptance for her application for ATAS ceritificate. Is this normal ? Usually all application submissions are acknowledged by the respective authority.

2. How long does it take to get the ATAS certificate for student pursuing MRes course ?

Any help is much appreciated.

She can ask the international student adviser at the university about this.

That makes more sense than her brother asking around, to be honest.
