Affidavit of sponsorship from relative in Ireland

Hi!
Do I get the affidavit of sponsorship of a non EU citizen currently in Ireland in India and then send it there or should I ask her to prepare it from there and send it here ?(Notarized)
Will originals be required or will a scanned copy suffice as it may take a long time to reach here?
This is for a student visa
