Latest Notifications from IrishImmigration.ie

Post by amolbawate » Fri Jul 02, 2021 8:34 am

Folks,

The department is not accepting new applications from 25th June 2021 to 30th Sep 2021 so they can focus on clearing the backlog.

This department is completely in shambles rather than improving the process, they ask applicants not to send the new applications which will create more backlog in future.

BTW here is link : https://www.irishimmigration.ie/notice- ... plication/

Another notification was for Garda e-vetting. link : https://www.irishimmigration.ie/introdu ... pplicants/

It doesn't say that.

It says:
"To help us to prioritise the processing of citizenship applications over the summer months, applicants are asked not to submit applications and accompanying passports between 25th June 2021 to 30 September 2021, if you think that you will require your passport during this time. If you are uncertain if you may require your passport over the coming months, please be advised we cannot guarantee the speedy return of your passport."

In fact it is a very rational advice, as people will go on holidays during the summer, and are being warned of the delays in returning the original passports.
